SILVER GHOST cable is made of 2 parallel conductors: one is lagged with transparent PVC, the other with blue PVC. Both are tightly surrounded in a blue transparent sheath. Each wire works with the same concept: an alliance between silver plated copper plaits and plain copper strands. The tight plaiting avoids air and humidity penetrating inside the conductor.
The copper is OFC (oxygen free). The presence of oxygen in copper damages the signal. Furthermore, the copper is OCC (Ohno Continuous Casting). That mean after being purified, it is drawn when hot in a draw-plate. This process will orientate all crystals of copper the same way. Thus, SILVER GHOST cable has a direction of use.
Silver in periphery will vehicle high frequencies. Actually, the higher the frequency is, the more signal will concentrate at the periphery of the conductor. Moreover, Silver is a better conductor than copper.
